LG is much talk lately. Rather logical as it should be the next manufacturer to announce its flagship smartphone for the current year, the G3. However, it has other pots on the fire. We talked a L65 this morning. It also completes its first processor. Long raised the tone of the rumor, the information is now official spokesperson since the firm has confirmed the Korea Herald .
Promising rumors
Indeed, this is not the first time we hear of a processor in preparation LG. We even already know a lot about it. It would respond to name Odin and configuration based on an eight big. LITTLE hearts, logically divided into two groups of four. Each group would employ a different ARM architecture Cortex-A15 (2.2 GHz) for a Cortex-A7 (1.7 GHz) for the other. A graphics card PowerVR 6 series complement this configuration. Last detail, the chip should be melted by the Taiwanese TSMC.
Poor timing for G3
None of this information, however, was confirmed by the spokesman, which is simply to say that mass production would "soon" begin, with a view to marketing the third quarter. The G3 is expected in July in trade, we should not find Odin. It remains to find out what smartphone will be equipped with the chip, obviously tailored for the high end.
