The iPhone 5.5 inches would not for now!

The new iPhone coming out should still take a few inches this year, but maybe not as much as expected. Only the 4.7 inch model should finally out in the coming year. The 5.5-inch model that would happen several months later.

Yesterday , Japan Display unveiled a new screen of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. These characteristics, are also those of the screen that will equip a future iPhone to believe rumors. Mere coincidence? It is still too early to say. According to Reuters , in any case, even if the screen (already in production) was used by Apple, we should not see iPhone 5.5 inches for several more months, or even a whole year.

 Technology "in-cell" involved

The news agency had heard of problems with the application of technology in-cell on the screen of 5.5 inches supposed to equip the iPhone. As a reminder, it can be integrated directly into the surface touch the LCD panel instead of using an additional layer, which inevitably adds to the thickness of the final component. The output of this model, originally planned in the coming year could then be extended and in-cell technology abandoned in cases where no solution was found. Japan Display, but Sharp and new LG phones coming out are on the spot.

The 4.7-inch model still on schedule

This obviously does not mean Apple will have nothing to show at the end of the year. Rumors indicate that also preparing a more compact model, expected with a 4.7-inch screen. It is still valid.

No change in the schedule for. Production is expected to start in time for a launch in September or in May in Japan Display in June and in the other two according to the source. Obviously, this is still rumor and should be taken as such.
