After six and a half years of absence on the French market for mobile telephony, the manufacturer Panasonic is back with its range of Android smartphones called Eluga ("Elegant user-oriented gateway") which has the distinction of being waterproof (IP57). Eluga smartphones can indeed remain submerged under one meter of water for 30 minutes!

Panasonic Eluga is a smartphone that runs on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), but will soon be updated to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). This terminal has a OLED screen with a diagonal measurement was 4.3 inches (qHD 960 x 540 pixels). This screen is about 66% of the phone, making it one of the devices receiving the best display on the market thanks to the fineness ratio of the frame.

As for the processor, it 'is a TI OMAP 4430 dual-core 1 GHz and supported by 1 GB of memory (RAM). Imaging side, the Panasonic Eluga has an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus.

Panasonic finally has the good sense to expand its smartphone with features such as "Swipe and Share", allowing users to "throw" the picture or movies from the phone to a TV, or "VieraRemote" application which turns the phone into a remote control for other electronic devices in the home such as a TV Viera, a DIGA Blu-Ray player / recorder, a home theater system or just a digital camera.
